Sooraj R is a seasoned Cybersecurity Professional with over 13 years of experience in safeguarding critical systems and data. As Signal Lead  at the Disha Foundation of Canada, he brings strategic oversight to the foundation’s technology and digital presence—ensuring that systems are not only functional but secure and resilient.

Professionally, Sooraj has led initiatives in Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) with platforms like Splunk and LogRhythm, and has deep expertise in endpoint security tools including CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, McAfee, Tanium, and Microsoft Defender. His skillset also spans SOAR automation, patch management, incident analysis, and privileged access management tools like CyberArk EPM.

In addition to his cybersecurity leadership, Sooraj is a creative at heart. He is passionate about photography and creating social media content, using digital media to capture stories, highlight causes, and build community engagement.
